Last Chance Canyon Nov 18 - 20

Hello everyone,

I am leading the Last Chance Canyon trip this year again on 11/18 to the 20th, I would like to see at least five Rovers aside from myself since it's a long way out there.

I wish I could do it a week before but my cousin is getting married and I can't miss her wedding. All the special dates have been reserved for weddings like 11/11/11(Thursday) and 12/12/12 (Monday?!?), as if these dates have any meaning at all! I suppose it's the only way the men can remember the anniversary dates and women just want to feel special for tying the knot on a once in a life time date, not DAY but date!!!! Crazy Right? I know!

I hope I can see a few more members sign up for this trip, I promise you'll never forget it as long as you live, make sure you bring a camera and a big smile and some patience, this trip will put your experience to the test. This is not an easy drive in the park kind of a trip, it's technical, fun and there are a lot of Kodak moments.

Since this date kind of falls close to Thanks Giving week, we can all have a potluck of Turkey and trimmings, pumpkin pie, just let me know what you'd like to bring.

You're killing me Hovik! I've always wanted to run Last Chance Cyn, but I have a soft spot for Death Valley... I know it doesn't count, but I'll be with you in spirit, have a great time.

Umberto, I might just run this trip again next year, sometime in the spring just so you can attend, I'd love to see you and your Range Rover on this trail

As in the past we all celebrated this event as if it were the Thanksgiving weekend and dined together in the desert.

I will bring the Turkey or at least enough Turkey parts for the group.

If you're up for it, bring the following:

Gravy and Biscuits
Pumpkin Pie
Soft Drinks or Beer
I'll bring some beer too.
And whatever else one eats on Thanks Giving Day.
