Due to a scheduling conflict with the club’s HAM Radio class and certification 11/13-11/14 which I and others are attending, I’m moving this event to the next weekend.
|Trail||No scheduled trail runs however all are free to self-organize to explore the desert basin trails. Some may wish to do harder trails like Last Chance.|
|Difficulty||Easy to Moderate|

There are several ways into the area, from the north side through the rolling hills or from the west along the railroad tracks. RV access suggested planning your route from the north side as the railroad track route may have tighter turns to access. RV accessible with moderate clearance (no 5th wheel trailers....16ft should be fine). Base camping or day trip (choice). This is an open area so plan for windy conditions should they arise.
With coordinates and your access/approach planned, you can arrive at the campsite area at anytime you wish. I will plan to arrive between 12pm-2pm.

|Description||Thanksgiving Potluck. Bring food to share, not a lot, just sampling on Sat around 4pm. We'll most likely to a round robin sampling from truck to truck but will decide on-site if we assemble a buffet style setup. Nice level camping, plenty of room to stretch and shoot. . This is more of an adult weekend but by no means are kids excluded. The area is set up for target and clay target shooting so if inclined, we'll have one area designated for shooting. Safety first.|
|RSVP||30 trucks limit. Required by Sun 14th 12:00pm. There aren’t many "4x4 trails" but a lot of two track trails, so this is more of a hang out weekend with bonfires (bring lots of wood!).|
