Anza Borrego Campout
Date: November 6-8
Location: Anza Borrego Desert State Park
Registration: Registration is open, click here to go to the registration page. Registration closes October 20. There will be no onsite registration and no refunds. After registering you will receive a registration packet with directions to the campsite. Each registered adult attendee will receive an event t-shirt.
Cost: $25 per person, no charge for children 12 & under.
Lodging: We will be dry camping out in the dirt. No restrooms or running water will be available. Hotel accommodations are available 30 minutes away in Borrego Springs. There is no charge for the campsite.
Navigation Challenge: The location of the campsite will be kept secret. You will need to complete the navigation challenge in order to find the campsite. Your registration packet will include detailed instructions for the navigation challenge. If you are unable to participate in the navigation challenge your registration packet will have all the information you need to get to the campsite.
Trails: Saturday and Sunday we will have multiple trail runs heading out to the various corners of the park. The registration packet will have more information on the trail runs.
T-shirt design contest: We need a logo for the event! We need you to create a cool logo for the shirts then submit it to [email protected]. The winner will receive free registration for themselves and everyone in their vehicle. Anyone attending the campout is eligible to enter the contest. All entries must be submitted by September 27 at 11:59 pm.
Food: Attendees are responsible for providing their own food and water. Saturday evening we will have a big potluck dinner. Each model of Land Rover will be assigned a type of dish to bring, more info will be on the SCLR website. We do ask that in addition to firewood for personal use each vehicle bring two bundles of wood for the community fire. Wood with nails, staples or screws is prohibited. No firewood will be available for purchase at the campsite.
