Easy-Moderate single day trail runs through Berdoo Canyon and Pinkham Canyon around Joshua Tree with private campground option for Fri and Sat nights.

Meeting location: Goodwins Market 4089 Lake Gregory Dr, Crestline, CA 92325 Route: North to miller canyon trail, follow it east/up to pinnacles staging area. Then run willow creek trail up to hooks creek road and end in the village. Most of this is graded dirt roads. near the end on willow creek we have the option of taking some moderate offshoots if the group is interested. Lunch: Stop at a nice shady area along the trail and have a 30 minute "Intro to Offroad" class. Pass out maps of local trails, discuss safety & trail etiquette. Trail and Box Canyon Road (SR -195) to Little Box Canyon Trail Lunch stop on Little Box Canyon Trail Meccacopia Trail and Godwin Trail to cross SR-195 Painted Canyon Road (unpaved but County Maintained) Painted Canyon: End of Trip, optional canyon/ladder hiking (Individual Exit via Mecca, SR-86 to I-10 and Coachella Start Point). Duration: Mid-Morning to late afternoon. Difficulty: OK for stock Rovers: dirt, gravel, soft sand (a few optional small stones at turn around at ‘Hotel’).
