Camping: This is a Single Day trip (Saturday) with the option of camping Fri and/or Sat nights at a private campground, see below for details.

Description: Pumpkin Patch OHV Trail is a 7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Borrego Springs, California and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for camping and ohv/off road driving and is best used from November until March.

Truck Limit: 8 Truck Limit. If there is more interest then a waiting list will be used and the group will be split up.

CAMPING OPTION (not a part of the trip--just an option to stay in the area longer)

If you want to join us to camp Friday and/or Saturday nights we will be hosted at the (SCLR member owned) private campground at Elliott's Sky Ranch in Desert Hot Springs/Sky Valley. On this 5-acre desert property there are numerous improved campsites, each with power and water. There is a communal area where we can congregate for a campfire. Adjacent to this area is a fabulous shower and bathroom setup, separated for Men's and Women's. Donation and confirmation required, see below for this awesome opportunity. There is a $20 fee paid to the owner to cover his expenses for this option.

One site has a platform for elevated tent camping. The rest are graded dirt:
