Description: Easy scenic day trip with great views. We can bbq up top. I'll also make espresso shots. Be sure you are fueled up before you get to the meeting spot because there is no fuel station nearby. Street tires are fine as long as you bring a FULL SIZE spare.
Trail is rated 2/10 - Any Rover can complete this trail. A passenger car might not do as well because of clearance issues or lack of All-Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive. 2-Wheel Drive is usually fine for the entire trail, but mud or snow could make things more difficult. This trail is a dirt road that may have rocks buried in them in places or cracks where the trail has eroded. Passing may be difficult in some areas and you may need to back up to a wide spot.
Bring: Food, water, snacks, camping chairs, binoculars, sunscreen, hat, jacket, a working full size spare tire and a friendly, helpful attitude.
Communication: HAM radio on club frequency and FRS (for non-HAMs), details will be provided at the briefing
