At Land Rover Riverside
Posted by Adam Spiker
Sunday, June 13 - 12:00pm-3:00pm
Land Rover Riverside 8051 Auto Center Drive, Riverside CA 92504
Registration REQUIRED to attend this event.
We're off and running with our second in-person meetup happening at the new Land Rover - Riverside dealership. They will be hosting this event and welcoming our club to park on-property, "on display" for us and for their dealership guests. This is a great opportunity for our club to create a relationship with a dealership that is truly interested in what we have to offer their customers; as well as for us to be welcomed into their dealership to see the new models. Steve Beres (our club Sponsorship guru) has put this opportunity together and they've given us an allotment of parking spaces to display our vehicles.
Steve Beres will contact each registrant to get your vehicle information to arrange for an orderly assigned parking plan to minimize on-site disruption. Please make sure your email is accurate in your profile. If you are not contacted by Steve prior to the event that likely means he could not reach you. Questions regarding parking can be directed to Steve at [email protected]
Bring your appetites as Val and Oliver are stepping up to manage the grill, cooking up delicious burgers and hot dogs for our members and the dealership guests and staff. Thank you so much guys! There will be plenty of hands to help you!
It goes without saying, however we might as well just get it out there....We are guests in a business who is hoping to demonstrate a lifestyle because of, and beyond the Land Rover vehicles. We are wearing our Land Rover Brand Ambassador hats as well as our SCLR Ambassador hats. We want to be able to show their guests how the vehicle can become a tool for adventure and exploration, safely, and without damage. As well, to demonstrate the authentic lifestyle and friendships that come from the brand and membership in our club. "Damage" is the number one reason dealers hear in opposition to using the vehicles as intended. This is a great way for us to show their new vehicle customers who are leery that exploration can be done safely. We want to welcome them into a lifestyle that has enriched our lives so deeply in a non-intimidating manner so they want to buy a Land Rover and then head out with us. As well, we need to be mindful that we need to be respectful of their showroom; that this is where business is conducted and to not cause any unnecessary distraction or disruption.
If this goes right--as we are sure it will--this is the first of many 'next level' hosts to our events. We're very grateful to Steve for putting this together for us all.
We can't wait to see you all again and we'll be relaying some new info about Rover Rendezvous XXI!
Hope to see you there!
